Refund & Return Policy

30-Day Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it — unused and uncut
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

To start a return, contact us at info@californiaexotichardwoods.com before sending anything back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We do not provide prepaid return labels or cover return shipping costs except in cases where the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly sent (see Damages & Issues below).

Please use a trackable shipping method for your return. California Exotic Hardwoods is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us right away at info@californiaexotichardwoods.com with photos of the item and packaging so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

For freight or oversized shipments, please note any damage on the carrier's delivery paperwork before signing — failure to do so may affect your ability to file a claim.

Exceptions — Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or special orders — items cut to custom dimensions or processed to your specifications
  • Sale items — items purchased at a discounted or clearance price
  • Gift cards
  • Any item not in its original, unused condition

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right item is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, place a new order for the correct item. Contact us at info@californiaexotichardwoods.com to start the process.

European Union — 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification. Your item must be in the same unused condition with original packaging, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund to your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@californiaexotichardwoods.com.
