Why choose reclaimed

Reclaimed wood gives new life to timber that would otherwise go to waste. It often comes from old-growth stock, which tends to have denser and finer grain than much of the lumber milled today. It also brings a patina that new wood can't copy, from weathering, saw marks and the occasional nail hole.

Reclaimed lumber is a natural material, so colour, grain pattern, checking and surface marks will vary from board to board. These variations are part of its charm. Actual dimensions can differ slightly from the nominal size, so please plan your project accordingly. Prices are per board foot (bf), and the total depends on the size and quantity you select.

Finishing and care

The wood can be left natural for a rustic look, or sanded and sealed with oil, wax or polyurethane for a smoother surface. For outdoor use, apply a suitable exterior sealer or stain to protect it from moisture and UV.
