Wide-format Granadillo slab — perfect for guitar body blanks, live edge
furniture, or statement woodworking projects. This piece offers three usable
width options (13.5", 12", 10") giving you flexibility for your project planning.

Scientific Name: Platymiscium yucatanum
Dimensions: 48" L × 13.5" / 12" / 10" W × 1" T
Grade: Finest quality | Highly figured | Kiln dried

THE WOOD:
Rich purple-to-brown heartwood with pale white sapwood creating a striking
natural contrast. Granadillo is one of the heaviest hardwoods we carry —
significantly denser than Hard Maple or Teak — with a closed, straight grain
structure that machines to exceptional tolerances.

TONE PROFILE:
Produces a little extra chime and brightness compared to Indian Rosewood
due to its higher density. Wide frequency response with strong articulation
at both low and high ends. A first-rate choice for backs and sides on
fingerstyle and classical instruments.

IDEAL FOR:
Wide guitar backs | Furniture tabletops | Live edge projects |
Instrument bodies | Custom woodworking
