Ziricote Live Edge and Kiln Dried, Finest Quality, perfect for exotic furniture or Musical Instruments.

California exotic hardwood supply finest quality Ziricote Live Edge Slab -Luthier(Musical) Grade.

Ziricote is the most striking member of the Cordia genus and distinguishes itself from other exotic woods because to its distinctive grain lines, which frequently show spider webbing, marbled swirls, cloud bursts, mountains, valleys, and other fascinating patterns.

The heartwood is a reddish brown colour with sporadic chocolate or black streaks that resemble abstract art.

The sapwood's shades, which vary from creamy vanilla to golden tan, complement these colour tones perfectly. To maximise the final visual impact of their products, artisan artisans like to use this sapwood. It really is a beautiful combo!

Ziricote turns exceptionally smoothly and has a denser core than rosewood. It can withstand a high polish and a very smooth finish. Although ziricote is a little brittle, it is a suitable candidate for steam bending and has been shown to hold screws and nails well.

This exotic hardwood is stable in usage and simple to deal with by hand or machine. Medium to fine in texture, ziricote wood has a straight to barely interlocked grain.

While drying, it has a propensity to form end and surface checks, but once it has, it is stable. Sometimes, the ray or flake patterns on quartersawn surfaces resemble those on hard maple.

Similar to the finely detailed spider web grain found in Brazilian Rosewood, but more intricate.
